A nurturing and constructive environment is key to your GSD’s well-being. Only those who can offer the necessary care, strong focus, and suitable environment are encouraged to apply.

All Windy Knoll German Shepherd puppies receive a  thorough 9-point examination by a licensed, reputable veterinarian. They are wormed and also receive their first vaccinations before they leave our premises. (Please read our Sales Contract for complete details.)

A $500 non-refundable deposit will ensure a place on the reservation list.

All puppies can be picked up in Bradford, Maine directly from our farm/kennel facility. If you are coming from farther away and want to fly in, most people have found either Portland, ME or Bangor, Maine airports to be convenient.

Delivery Options

We also offer delivery to Kittery Maine which is near the seacoast area of New Hampshire for a nominal fee. Plus, we deliver anywhere in the lower 48 States.

Pricing

The cost of our puppies is $2,999, with a $500 non-refundable deposit required to secure your spot. Once your deposit is received, you will be added to our reservation list.

Puppy Reservation Specifics

Buyer's choice will be honored on a first come, first serve basis** after online non-refundable deposit has been received. By placing a deposit you are guaranteeing that you will purchase a puppy from Windy Knoll Shepherds LLC at some point in the future. No Refunds Issued. We will be happy to place you on another litter list if one doesn't work out.

Puppy Training

Our comprehensive basic training package helps your German Shepherd Dog become house-trained and develop excellent social skills with other dogs. Our dedicated team of world class, experienced trainers understand the unique needs of puppies and employs positive reinforcement techniques to create a fun and engaging learning environment. We focus on essential commands, proper leash walking, and potty training, ensuring that your puppy develops good manners and learns to interact confidently with other dogs. With our guidance, your adorable companion will embark on a journey towards becoming a well-behaved and socially adept dog, bringing joy and harmony to your household. Puppy training is purchased on a weekly basis at $400 per week. Recommendation for best results is 4 weeks minimum for proper potty training, and 6 weeks for much higher-level obedience and desensitization training.

This additional amount is non-refundable and is added to your initial $500 non-refundable deposit.

Pick of the Litter

We accept on Pick of the Litter Male and one Pick of the Litter per litter. "Pick of the Litter Male/Female" reserves you the right to make first choice of male or female puppy before any other individuals' reservations. The additional $300/$200 dollars required to secure this choice is due at the time you pick up the puppy. Choosing these options will not necessarily guarantee receiving them.

Puppy Reservation Deposit - Terms & Conditions


A $500 non-refundable deposit will place you on the reservation list. Any puppy training is also non-refundable and will be added to this amount.

If we are unable to provide you with the puppy of your choice (i.e. you choose a female from one of the litters that ended up being all males) we will transfer your deposit to the next available puppy from a litter of your choice.

By submitting this form online you agree to electronic consent of this contract, and your submission binds you to all agreements and conditions of this document.

Upon receipt of you contract, and clearing of your payment, we will reserve your puppy. You can expect us to post pictures and video updates of the puppies to the website and Facebook.

This deposit only covers $500 of the $2999 cost for a puppy. After paying the deposit, you are placed on our reservation list.
