Working-line German Shepherds are uniquely suited for many different family environments. While energetic and driven, our dogs relate well to people and love to interact with our children. Curious and intelligent, GSD (German Shepherd Dogs) are highly trainable. Quick learners, GSD excel in obedience training and can easily master a variety of commands. When leash trained, they adapt well to a variety of public situations. Socialization is crucial. When socialized from a young age, they form strong bonds and are incredibly loyal. With their strong protective instincts, GSD readily assume the role of watch dog and personal protector for all family members, especially young children. It should be noted that their high drive and work ethic requires regular mental and physical stimulation.
